Section 4: App Bundles

Like Domains, App Bundles are where you manage the bundles of the mobile or CTV apps you'd like to monetize.

Each app bundle you'd like to monetize via Commerce Grid must be added here and the developer URL must host an up-to-date App-ads.txt file stating its Commerce Grid relationship.

To submit an app bundle under your Commerce Grid account, use the following steps.

  1. Select Inventory Management ‣ App Bundles ‣ Add App Bundles(s)`

  2. Select Create App Bundles(s).

  3. Fill in the App Bundles (Min. 1) window and complete the following fields for each app or CTV bundle:

    - Bundle ID - paste the app bundle identifier you want to monetize. You can copy/paste multiple bundles into the field.

    - Store - Commerce Grid automatically suggests a store (for example, Google Play, Apple App Store, Roku Channel Store, Amazon Appstore, Samsung Galaxy Store, LG Content Store, Sony PlayStation Store, Vizio App Store) based on the bundle format. Confirm the detected store or select the correct one from the list if detection fails.

    - Store URL - Enter the full URL of the app’s listing in the selected store (for example, the Google Play, App Store, Roku, or Amazon app detail page). This URL is used by demand partners to validate the app, check app-ads.txt, and comply with store-assigned app identification guidelines.

    - Content categories (IAB) - Select the most relevant IAB content category for each bundle. We recommend grouping similar apps and adding them in batches to reduce the risk of assigning the wrong category.

Once an app bundle has been created, you can review and update its content categories from the list of app bundles by clicking the icon in the “Content Cats.” column. App bundles must also host an up-to-date app-ads.txt file that declares their Commerce Grid relationship.
