Introducing the Data Tab
The Data Tab is Commerce Grid's workflow solution for data management.
The Data Tab makes it easier for publishers who are creating data + supply packages to search, select and manage data of all types.
This feature makes it possible for publishers to:
Search data segments and providers to understand availability, pricing, and segment names in Commerce Grid’s library of third-party and Criteo Commerce Audience data segments, simplifying planning without the need to open the Supply Package creation workflow.
Manage first-party data that has been onboarded to Commerce Grid for supply packaging
Access Criteo Search Intent audiences for the first time
While the Data Tab serves as a data management solution, the Data Marketplace (within the Supply Packaging workflow) remains the data application solution where you will target any selected data segments to your package.
Data Providers
The Data Providers screen allows you to search from the library of data providers included in Commerce Grid's Data Marketplace without having to enter the Supply Packaging workflow.
Here, you can scroll through a list of data providers and click into them to see the available segments each provides. You can also see a range of CPM costs for planning purposes.
Below are some of the Data Providers currently available in the Data Marketplace. You can also review our third-party data provider guide for more info.

Segment Categories
The Segment Categories screen allows you to search across various categories to identify segments that best fit your needs.
Here, you will see the Category name and ID, and the Data Provider it's associated to alongside the CPM range for segments in that category.
Click into the Category Name to see available segments within that Category. You may also search across Category names if you are looking for a specific type of data (i.e. "In-Market" or "Interest")
The Segment Categories screen is a great way to narrow your search to specific data providers within a larger data partner such as LiveRamp Data Store. For example, Axciom data is available via the LiveRamp Data Store. Here you can search for "Axciom" and isolate to only segments that belong to Axciom as a data provider.
Segments
The Segments screen is the most essential level in the hierarchy of data management, where individual segments can be accessed for information on their cost, Segment IDs and more.
On the Segments Screen, you can search broadly for segments that match your needs (i.e. "Sports", "Male 20-25", "brand safety", etc.). You can also click the "Data Providers" dropdown menu to isolate your search to one or more data providers.
You can also click into a segment by pressing on the segment name. Here you will see several important fields:
Segment ID: The ID Commerce Grid uses to associate this segment to your deal. Can be applied directly by copying the ID and targeting in the Data Marketplace, or within API scripts.
Data Provider: The provider associated to the segment.
Segment Category: The category the segment is associated to.
Supply Packages: The number of supply packages you have targeted the segment within.
Price: CPM price associated to the segment.
Source: Who created the segment (typically CRITEO_USER, unless it is a first-party data segment).
Activating Data Segments on a Supply Package
The Data Tab is a library of available segments and providers for planning and research purposes.
To apply a Data Segment to a deal, you must initiate a new Supply Package, and target the desired segment(s) within the Data Marketplace/Audience Targeting workflow.
Access our guide on Supply Packages to learn how to use the Data Marketplace.
Criteo Search Intent Data
Publishers can access to Criteo’s Search Intent Audiences with the launch of the Data Tab.
Search Intent is a unique data solution that lets publishers create segments of users who recently searched for specific keywords on top search engines. This proprietary tool connects publishers with high-intent users, reaching shoppers early in their shopping journey as they research products and services. Adding Search Intent segments to your supply packages can enhance campaign outcomes for advertising partners aiming to reach their most valuable shoppers.
To begin, contact your Commerce Grid service team with a list of desired keywords for your segment. Your service team will generate a segment for you and, once created, it will be available for targeting in the Data Marketplace within the Supply Package creation workflow.
