The Commerce Grid Reporting Platform

What's included in the Commerce Grid Reporting Platform?

The Commerce Grid Reporting Platform is a suite of reporting tools all built on the foundation of our unified reporting pipeline.

The unified reporting pipeline merges trading data from Criteo-owned DSPs with trading data from third-party DSPs, so that publishers can have a holisitic view of their trading activity across demand sources.

On top of this reporting pipeline, we have four different reporting tools available to publishers:

  1. The Commerce Grid Reporting Tab our lightweight, easy-to-use in-platform reporting solution. Learn More >>

  2. The Commerce Grid Reporting API, our basic reporting API designed to automate your connection to your data. Learn More >>

  3. u-Slicer, our standalone, advanced reporting tool for Enterprise publishers. Learn More >>

  4. The u-Slicer Reporting API, for automated connection to u-Slicer for Enterprise publishers. Learn more >>

Which Reporting Tool is Right for Me?

The Commerce Grid Reporting Tab is your first stop

The Commerce Grid Reporting Tab is available to any customer who has signed a Commerce Grid contract. You can login now and check it out for yourself.

Furthermore, any customer can setup access to the Commerce Grid Reporting API if they wish to retrieve essential revenue data in a more automated way.

Both of the above solutions will connect you to essential revenue data across a range of the most common report types.

u-Slicer access is available for Enterprise customers

If you are a customer who has met certain trading thresholds and has advanced analytics use cases, you may be eligible to access u-Slicer. u-Slicer will provide a more customizable analytics experience with a higher degree of control to combine reports, schedule reports and more.

Customers who have access to u-Slicer can also choose to access the data via the dedicated u-Slicer Reporting API.

What Can I Expect as a Legacy PMC User?

Some publishers who are long-term customers of Criteo may be familiar with our legacy Publisher Management Center (PMC) and its associated reporting tool.

As of Q4 2025, we have fully deprecated access to the PMC UI for customers who have signed a Commerce Grid contract, and are currently working to deprecate access to the PMC Reporting API as well.

Customers who are working in Commerce Grid should transition to using the new suite of tools in the Commerce Grid Reporting Platform.

How does the Reporting Tab and its associated API compare to PMC?

The Reporting Tab provides an enhanced standard reporting solution when compared to PMC reporting. Critically, and unlike PMC, customers can access consolidated demand data, which was previously unavailable in PMC. They can do so across a broader range of report types in the Reporting Tab.

Furthermore, the Reporting Tab offers access to a data visualization, Curation insights, and reporting breakdowns at the Network, Inventory Group, and Ad Unit levels.

From an API perspective, the Commerce Grid Reporting API offers parity with the PMC API, bringing similar functionality and leveraging a similar schema to build reports.

How does u-Slicer and its associated API compare to PMC?

u-Slicer offers a significant enhancement compared to PMC.

u-Slicer unlocks the ability to customize reports by selecting from a much larger range of reports, the ability to stack reports, longer and more granular date selection, dashboard creation, and several data portability options, including report scheduling.

The associated u-Slicer Reporting API shares these enhancements, mirroring the wider selection of reports to choose from, and the ability to stack those reports.

One guardrail that legacy-PMC users will find in u-Slicer and the u-Slicer API that they may not be used to is compression. Compression, or data sampling, is used in u-Slicer to help speed and efficiency in processing due to the massive amounts of data that are available to users. You can learn more about compression here.

Comparing and Contrasting Reporting APIs

It's critical to note that there are differences in the available reporting APIs, both in setup and data availability. Enterprise publishers may select which API they prefer, non-Enterprise customers should leverage the Commerce Grid Reporting API.

  • The Commerce Grid Reporting API is our standard API and offers access to reports and metrics mirrored by the reporting tab. It was recently restructured to be even easier to use, and more stable.

  • The u-Slicer API offers a broader range of reporting keys and metrics and has some unique setup considerations as it queries a publisher's specific u-Slicer iteration (called a subslicer). It is also more impacted by compression, and Enterprise customers should familiarize themselves with how to limit compression if they choose to use the u-Slicer API (see here for best practices on how to do so).
